Stan Rickaby
Stanley Rickaby (12 March 1924 – 8 February 2014) was an English association football, footballer who played as a right-back. Career Rickaby was born in Stockton-on-Tees. He began his career with South Bank F.C., South Bank in 1940 and in July of the following year joined Middlesbrough F.C., Middlesbrough as an amateur. He turned professional with Boro in July 1946. In February 1950 he signed for West Bromwich Albion F.C., West Bromwich Albion for a fee of £7,500. He made his only appearance for England national football team, England on 11 November 1953, in a 3–1 win against Northern Ireland national football team, Northern Ireland at Goodison Park. A leg injury sustained in the 1954 FA Cup semi-final against Port Vale F.C., Port Vale meant that Rickaby missed the 1954 FA Cup Final, final, but he nevertheless received a winner's medal, having played in all the previous rounds of the competition. Stockton-on-Tees
Stockton-on-Tees, often simply referred to as Stockton, is a market town in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees in County Durham, England. It is on the northern banks of the River Tees, part of the Teesside built-up area. The town had an estimated population of 84,318 in 2011. It is included in the Tees Valley mayoralty. The borough had a population of approximately , at the ONS The Tees was straightened in the early 1800s for larger ships to access the town. The ports have since relocated closer to the North Sea and ships are no longer able to sail from the sea to the town due to the Tees Barrage, which was installed to manage tidal flooding. Southern Football League
The Southern League is a men's football competition featuring semi-professional clubs from the South and Midlands of England. Together with the Isthmian League and the Northern Premier League it forms levels seven and eight of the English football league system. The structure of the Southern League has changed several times since its formation in 1894, and currently there are 84 clubs which are divided into four divisions. In many legal jurisdictions, the manner of death is a determination, typically made by the coroner, medical examiner, police, or similar officials, and recorded as a vital statistic.
