Nysa, Poland
Nysa (german: Neisse or ''Neiße'', szl, Nysa) is a town in southwestern Poland on the Eastern Neisse (Polish language, Polish: ''Nysa Kłodzka'') river, situated in the Opole Voivodeship. With 43,849 inhabitants (2019), it is the capital of Nysa County. It comprises the urban portion of the surrounding Gmina Nysa. Historically the town was part of Upper Silesia. Michał Zygmunt Ruciak (born 22 August 1983) is a Polish former professional volleyball player. He was part of the Polish national team in 2004–2014, a participant at the Olympic Games London 2012, the 2009 European Champion and the 2012 World League winner. Personal life Michał Ruciak was born in Świnoujście, Poland. On 22 September 2007 he married Justyna (née Terlecka). They have two sons: Rafał (born on 2 June 2008) and Filip (born on 18 March 2011). The 2021–22 PlusLiga was the 86th season of the Polish Volleyball Championship, the 69th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish volleyball league system since its establishment in 1954, and the 22nd season as a professional league. The league is operated by the Polish Volleyball League SA ( pl, Polska Liga Siatkówki SA). This season was composed of 14 teams. The regular season was played as a round-robin tournament.
