''Stage 7'' is a 30-minute American TV drama anthology series that was broadcast on CBS from December 12, 1954, through September 25, 1955. This program premiered in December 1954 with the title ''Your Favorite Playhouse'' with all episodes being repeats from other series, but later featured original episodes. Don Rickles's first dramatic appearance on TV was in the May 15, 1955, episode, "A Note of Fear". Other actors who appeared on the program included Dennis Morgan, Charles Bronson, Edmond O'Brien, Gene Barry, Phyllis Coates, Frances Rafferty, Macdonald Carey, and Phyllis Thaxter. The program was filmed in Hollywood, with Warren Lewis as producer. Some directing was done by Quinn Martin. When ''Stage 7'' went into syndication, in some parts of the United States sponsors changed the title to indicate their sponsorship. Edward Macdonald Carey (March 15, 1913 – March 21, 1994) was an American actor, best known for his role as the patriarch Dr. Tom Horton on NBC's soap opera ''Days of Our Lives''. For almost three decades, he was the show's central cast member. Don Ameche
Don Ameche (; born Dominic Felix Amici; May 31, 1908 – December 6, 1993) was an American actor, comedian and vaudevillian. After playing in college shows, stock, and vaudeville, he became a major radio star in the early 1930s, which led to the offer of a movie contract from 20th Century Fox in 1935. As a handsome, debonair leading man in 40 films over the next 14 years, he starred in comedies, dramas, and musicals. In the 1950s he worked on Broadway and in television, and was the host of NBC's ''International Showtime'' from 1961 to 1965. Returning to film work in his later years, Ameche enjoyed a fruitful revival of his career beginning with his role as a villain in ''Trading Places'' (1983) and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in '' Cocoon'' (1985). Drewrys
Drewrys Brewing Company is an American brewery located in McHenry, Illinois founded in 1877. Besides its Canadian connection (sometimes sporting a picture of a Mountie on cans or labels), the main Drewrys claims to fame were that the beer was "more flavor; less filling; more fun!", years before the popularity of light beers, and also (with the advent of lighter aluminum cans) that a can of Drewrys would float in water, rather than sinking to the bottom of a bucket or tub. Other themes employed on Drewrys cans included sports scenes, and also zodiac graphics and trivia. The South Bend-based brewery was merged with Associated Brew Co. in 1963, making the Associated/Drewry's plants one of the largest breweries in the U.S. The plant was sold to G. ''Chevron Hall of Stars'' is an American television anthology series which aired in 1956 in first-run syndication. It was produced by Four Star Productions, and was a half-hour series. Gene Roddenberry’s script ''The Secret Weapon of 117'' was broadcast on the series on March 6, 1956. Another 1956 episode was an unsuccessful pilot for a ''Captain Kidd'' TV series. It featured Anthony Dexter in the title role, Denton De Gray as Scar, Danny Green as Morgan, and Christopher Lee as the governor. Quinn Martin (born Irwin Martin Cohn; May 22, 1922 – September 5, 1987) was an American television producer. He had at least one television series running in prime time every year for 21 straight years (from 1959 to 1980). Martin is a member of the Television Hall of Fame, having been inducted in 1997.
