Stage (Iranian TV Series)
''Stage'' ( fa, استیج), also known as ''Manoto Stage'', is an Iranian television reality music competition, based on the original British series, and an addition to ''The X Factor'' franchise, to find new singing talent. The show began airing from London on 7 January 2016 and was broadcast by Manoto. The judging panel consisted of Shahram Azar (Sandi), Hamed Nikpay, Babak Saeedi and Reza Rohani. The show was hosted by Raha Etemadi in 2 seasons. In addition, ''Stage'' has brought in several famous musical guest stars to perform live on the show, including Aref, Afshin, Sepideh, Ava Bahram and Shahab Tiam. The winners were chosen by people's votes in Manoto application and receive a $50.000 prize. The winners of season 1 and 2 were respectively Amirhossein Eftekhari from Hamed Nikpay's group and Alireza Saremi from Reza Rouhani's group. Raha Etemadi
Raha Etemadi ( fa, رها اعتمادی, born November 4, 1984) is an Iranian lyricist, producer, director, documentary producer and TV presenter, known for hosting talent shows ''Googoosh Music Academy'' and ''Stage'' on Manoto. Career While completing his university degree, he co-founded the first Iran online TV channel (www.bebin.tv) while working for the network Bebin TV. Reza Rohani
Reza Rohani ( fa, رضا روحانی ; born October 31, 1977) is an Iranian pianist and composer. He is the son of Iranian composer Anoushiravan Rohani. Manoto (Persian: من و تو ) is an international free-to-air Persian language general entertainment channel launched in October 2010, owned by Marjan Television Network. It is based in London and its programs include documentaries, films, series, news and reports. Overview Marjan Television Network was established by Kayvan Abbassi and Marjan Abbassi. ''The X Factor'' is a British reality television music competition, created by Simon Cowell. Premiering on 4 September 2004, it was produced by Fremantle's Thames and Cowell's production company Syco Entertainment for ITV, as well as simulcast on Virgin Media One in Ireland. Aref Arefkia ( fa, عارف عارف‌کیا), known as Aref (; also Romanized as ''Āref'', born August 10, 1940) is an Iranian pop music singer and former actor. Afshin Jafari ( fa, افشین جعفری), known by the mononym Afshin ( fa, افشین; born 6 May 1978), is an Iranian singer based in UAE. Afshin moved with his family when he was seven. He started learning guitar at age 10 and started writing music and lyrics early on. In 1995, his family immigrated to Germany when he was 17 where they resided in Mannheim. Sepideh (singer)
Sepideh ( fa, سپیده; born 14 January 1975) is an Iranian-born singer. She has recorded and toured around the world multiple times, performing songs in multiple languages including Persian, English, Armenian, Arabic, and Turkish. Personal life Sepideh was born in Tehran, Iran and is of Kurdish descent on her father's side. She moved with her family to the Washington D.C. area in the late 1980s.
