Staffan Göthe
Lars ''Staffan'' Göthe (born 20 December 1944, in Luleå), is a Swedish playwright, actor and director.DramaDirectory He is also a professor at Malmö Theatre Academy (Teaterhögskolan i Malmö) at Lund University. He graduated from the Gothenburg Theatre Academy in 1971. In 2001, he was awarded the Litteris et Artibus medal. Plays by Göthe have been translated into English, German, Finnish and Estonian. His collected plays (22 out of the 23 works he had produced in the period 1971-2001) was published in 2003 as ''Lysande eländen'' (approx.: "Brilliant Miseries"). Luleå
Luleå ( , , locally ; smj, Luleju; fi, Luulaja) is a city on the coast of northern Sweden, and the capital of Norrbotten County, the northernmost county in Sweden. Luleå has 48,728 inhabitants in its urban core (2018) and is the seat of Luleå Municipality (with a total population of 77,832). Luleå is Sweden's 25th largest city and Norrbotten County's largest city. Luleå has the seventh biggest harbour in Sweden for shipping goods. SVT HD
SVT HD was a high-definition television channel from Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). The channel broadcasts high-definition simulcasts of programmes from the other SVT channels, where available. History The channel had its origins in 'HD-kanalen', a channel set up jointly by SVT and TV4 AB to broadcast the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The channel was transmitted by satellite on Canal Digital and from terrestrial transmitters. When the World Cup ended, the terrestrial frequencies were shut down. ''HD-kanalen'' continued on satellite, mostly broadcasting test films and promos from SVT HD and an experimental simulcast of ''The Marriage of Figaro'' in August 2006. The Guldbagge Awards ( sv, Guldbaggen, en, Gold scarab) is an official and annual Swedish film awards ceremony honoring achievements in the Swedish film industry. Winners are awarded a statuette depicting a rose chafer, better known by the name Guldbaggen. The awards, first presented in 1964 at the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, are overseen by the Swedish Film Institute. It is described as the Swedish equivalent of the Academy Awards. The awards ceremony was first televised in 1981 on SVT2, and has since then been broadcast, almost every year, on SVT1, SVT2 or TV4. Short Film
A short film is any motion picture that is short enough in running time not to be considered a feature film. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences defines a short film as "an original motion picture that has a running time of 40 minutes or less, including all credits". In the United States, short films were generally termed short subjects from the 1920s into the 1970s when confined to two 35 mm reels or less, and featurettes for a film of three or four reels. "Short" was an abbreviation for either term. Martin Beck is a fictional Swedish police detective and the main character in the ten novels by Maj Sjöwall and Per Wahlöö, collectively titled ''The Story of a Crime''. Peter Alexander Haber (born 12 December 1952) is a Swedish actor. His father was German, his mother Swedish. He grew up in Skåne, Sweden, and in Remscheid, Germany. In 1987 he was hired by the Stockholm City Theatre where he was active until 1994. At the 29th Guldbagge Awards, he was nominated for the Best Actor award for his role in '' Sune's Summer''. ''Beck – Spår i mörker'' (Beck - Trails in Darkness) is a 1997 film about the Swedish police detective Martin Beck directed by Morten Arnfred. It is the eighth film about Martin Beck with Peter Haber as Martin Beck and Mikael Persbrandt as Gunvald Larsson. Plot Martin Beck is on his way to a vacation with his colleague and girlfriend Lena Klingström when several gruesome murders in the Stockholm Metro force him to return. Without any kind of motivation, he is forced to lead the investigation of the strange murders. There are four things connecting the murders: they are all in the underground, they are all decapitations, and a sign is left by the murderer/murderers. Norwegian Language
Norwegian ( no, norsk, links=no ) is a North Germanic language spoken mainly in Norway, where it is an official language. Along with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a dialect continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional varieties; some Norwegian and Swedish dialects, in particular, are very close. These Scandinavian languages, together with Faroese and Icelandic as well as some extinct languages, constitute the North Germanic languages. Faroese and Icelandic are not mutually intelligible with Norwegian in their spoken form because continental Scandinavian has diverged from them.
