Stadion Metalac () is a football stadium in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. It is the home ground of Metalac Gornji Milanovac. The stadium consists of three stands with a total seating capacity of 4,350. History Background and construction Before earning promotion to the Serbian SuperLiga for the first time in 2009, Metalac Gornji Milanovac hosted its matches at the nearby Stadion SD Takovo, colloquially known as the Stadion kraj Despotovice, owned by local rivals Takovo. However, due to the league's stadium requirements, the club was forced to play its home matches in Kragujevac, Čačak and Lučani over the next three seasons before suffering relegation from the top flight. On 9 September 2011, Metalac a.d. signed an agreement with the local and national authorities to build a new stadium for Metalac Gornji Milanovac. Gornji Milanovac
Gornji Milanovac ( sr-Cyrl, Гoрњи Милановац, ) is a town and municipality located in the Moravica District of central Serbia. The population of the town is 24,216, while the population of the municipality is 44,406. The town was founded in 1853. Before 1859 the original name of the town was Despotovica ( sr-Cyrl, Деспотовица), after the Despotovica river passing by the town. In 1859 the name was changed to Gornji Milanovac at the request of the Prince of Serbia Miloš Obrenović. Its name means ''Upper Milanovac'' (there is a Lower Milanovac as well, while Milanovac stems from the name Milan in Serbian). 2012–13 Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2012-13 season. Two teams will be promoted to the Serbian Superliga and six will be relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. From next season, this division will be reduced to 16 clubs, thus 6 teams will be relegated from, and 4 will gain promotion to Serbian First League. Fk Javor Matis () is a professional football club based in Ivanjica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History In 1912, a student named Milan Radojević brought the first football ball to Ivanjica, which led to the formation of the club. The team mostly played friendly matches before the conclusion of World War II due to a lack of organized football competitions. Between 1958 and 1962, they were close to achieving promotion to the Yugoslav Second League. However, the club never reached higher than the third level until the 1990s. The 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-21 football competition that determined the 11 teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Poland in the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship tournament final. Serbia National Football Team
The Serbia national football team ( sr, Фудбалска репрезентација Србије, Fudbalska reprezentacija Srbije) represents Serbia in men's international football competition. Tomislav "Tole" Karadžić ( sr-cyr, Томислав Толе Караџић; born 10 February 1939) is a Serbian businessman and football administrator.
