Stade Rennais Football Club (), commonly referred to as Stade Rennais FC, Stade Rennais, Rennes, or simply SRFC, is a French professional football club based in Rennes, Brittany. They compete in Ligue 1, the top tier of French football, and play their home matches at the Roazhon Park. The team's president is Nicolas Holveck, and its owner is Artémis, the holding company of businessman François Pinault. Rennes was founded in 1901 under the name Stade Rennais and is one of the founding members of the first division of French football. Alongside Nantes, Rennes is one of the top football clubs in the region and the two are among the main clubs that contest the Derby Breton. Roazhon Park
The Roazhon Park is a football stadium in Rennes, Brittany (administrative region), Brittany, France. ''Roazhon'' is the Breton language, Breton name of Rennes. The stadium was inaugurated on 15 September 1912. It is located at 111 route de Lorient, in west-central Rennes. Rebuilt in 2001 and able to seat 29,778, the stadium is currently the home of Stade Rennais FC, Stade Rennais. The stadium has hosted France men's and women's national football team matches. On 19 and 20 June 2016 it hosted the semifinals of the 2015–16 Top 14 season, Top 14 rugby union tournament. Stade (), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (german: Hansestadt Stade, nds, Hansestadt Stood) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. Jimmy Julien Briand (born 2 August 1985) is a French professional footballer. He started his career as a striker, but is now usually deployed on the wing. Briand is a graduate of Clairefontaine academy and was a France youth international. Sylvain Claude Wiltord (born 10 May 1974) is a French former professional footballer. Mainly a right winger, he also played as a centre-forward, second striker and on the left wing. Wiltord had a four-season spell at Arsenal, with whom he won two Premier League titles and two FA Cups. He also won the Ligue 1 title at Bordeaux and in each of his three consecutive seasons at Lyon.
