Gueugnon () is a commune in the Saône-et-Loire department in the region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. Population Economy The primary industry in the town is a stainless-steel factory run by Aperam. A huge part of Gueugnon's economy is based on cow breeding, mostly because the city is located in the Charolais area. The Scotland national under-20 rugby union team participates in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship. Italy's national under-20 rugby union team has competed in both the IRB Junior World Championship and IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy.
