St Joseph's College, Gregory Terrace (colloquially known as Gregory Terrace, Terrace or GT) is an Independent school, independent Catholic school, Catholic primary and secondary day school for boys, located in Spring Hill, Queensland, Spring Hill, an inner suburb of Brisbane, Queensland, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Founded on 5 July 1875 by three Ireland, Irish Congregation of Christian Brothers, Christian Brothers, the college follows the Edmund Ignatius Rice, Edmund Rice tradition, and caters for approximately 1,665 students from Years 5 to 12. St Joseph's College is affiliated with the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia (AHISA), and is a founding member of the Great Public Schools Association of Queensland Inc., Great Public Schools' Association Inc (GPS). Combined Independent Colleges (CIC)
The Combined Independent Colleges (CIC) was a former junior sports association of 14 independent schools in south-east Queensland. It was founded in 1957 and dissolved in 2014 with the headmasters of the Great Public Schools and Associated Independent Colleges expanding their respective competitions to include students from grades 5 to 12. The CIC was originally known as the CCC (Combined Catholic Colleges) but was renamed after some Anglican schools were accepted into the association. The association was primarily dedicated to the promotion and organisation of sport between the member colleges but other co-curricular activities such as chess and debating were also conducted. Brothers Old Boys
Brothers Rugby Club (formally Brothers Old Boys) is an Australian rugby union club based in Brisbane, Queensland. The name alludes to its beginnings as a rugby club founded by alumni of schools established by the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Brothers currently competes in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition against nine of the states best Rugby Union clubs.
