St Joseph's College, Karachi
Saint Joseph's College for Women is located in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. It is a college for women, owned by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Karachi. History It was established by the religious order, the Daughters of the Cross and is one of the most distinguished women's colleges in the country. It was founded in 1948 and was one of the first colleges for women in Karachi. The building was constructed by Brother Hilary Lardenoye OFM. Since 1951, it has been affiliated with the University of Karachi. Zubeida Mustafa (born 1941) is a freelance journalist from Pakistan. She became one of the first woman to work in the country's mainstream media, when she joined the Dawn newspaper in 1975. Hamida Khuhro
Hamida Khuhro (August 13, 1936 – February 12, 2017) was a Pakistani politician and historian who twice served as Sindh's Minister for Education and also served as a professor of history at the University of Sindh. Early life and education Khuhro is the daughter of Muhammad Ayub Khuhro, a former chief minister of Sindh. Shahida Nighat Jamil (born 30 January 1944 as Shahida Nighat Sulaiman) is a Pakistani lawyer and politician who served as the Law Minister of Pakistan.
