	St. Xavier's College, Maitighar St. Xavier's College, Maitighar is a private, Jesuit, co-educational secondary and tertiary educational institution run by the Nepal Region of the Society of Jesus in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was founded by the Jesuits in 1988 AD. Since its very inception the College has been offering quality education and has contributed to the development of the nation through the production of highly qualified human resources. St. Xavier's College is managed by the Nepal Jesuit Society. Jesuits began their educational work in Nepal in 1951 with the opening of St. Xavier's School, the Godavari, followed by St. Xavier's School, Jawalakhel and St. Xavier's School, Deonia. 	Maitighar ''Maitighar'' ( Maternal home) is a 1966 Nepali film directed by B.S. Thapa. It was the third Nepali film produced and the first featured film under a private banner. This film features bollywood actress Mala Sinha in the lead role with Nepali actor Chidambar Prasad Lohani. It is considered as a classic in Nepali cinema. Plot A girl who was born in Pokhara was sent to jail for 15 years but she didn't want to go out of the jail then police officer calls a psychiatrist(doctor)then she tells her story to him. She tells the story of falling in love with and marrying Mohan and living a simple life with him. But they get separated from each other when Mohan goes to the jungle for the hunt to kill animals but he comes home dead.
