St. Pius X High School was founded in 1959 to provide a Catholic education for high school students in Jefferson County, Missouri, Jefferson County, Missouri, United States. Mike Henneman
Michael Alan Henneman (born December 11, 1961) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher with a 10-year career from 1987 to 1996. He played for the Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers, both of the American League, and the Houston Astros of the National League. Henneman was born in St. Charles, Missouri but adopted and raised by a family in Festus, Missouri. He graduated from St. Pius X High School in Festus, and attended Jefferson College in nearby Hillsboro in order to play college basketball but worked his way onto the college baseball team after impressing the school's coach in an American Legion baseball game. In 1983, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Jennifer Johnson Cano
Jennifer Johnson Cano is an American operatic mezzo-soprano. Before her college education, she attended St. Pius X High School (Festus, Missouri), graduating in the Class of 2002. While in high school, she was a member of the choir, singing at Mass and state competitions. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Webster University and a Master of Music degree from Rice University where she was a pupil of Kathleen Kaun. In 2008 she won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, and in 2009 she won the Young Concert Artists competition and was the recipient of a Sullivan Foundation grant. She was a member of the Metropolitan Opera's Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. In 2008 Cano made her professional opera debut with the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis as The Muse/Nicklausse in Jacques Offenbach's ''The Tales of Hoffmann''. Paul Joseph Wieland (born December 24, 1962) is an American businessman and politician from the state of Missouri. Steve Stoll (politician)
Stephen "Steve" Stoll (born April 3, 1947) is an American politician and educator from the state of Missouri. He served 12 years in the Missouri General Assembly. Early life and education Stoll was born in St. Louis and raised in Jefferson County. He attended Catholic Schools in Festus and attended Southeast Missouri State University. In 1970 he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973 and graduated from the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 1979 with a Master of Education.
