St. Paul's High School is a Society of Jesus, Jesuit Roman Catholic Church, Roman Catholic all-boys university preparatory high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The school has approximately 600 students attending and has an active 12,000+ alumni community. History St Paul's High School was founded in 1926. Its first location was on Selkirk Avenue; in 1931, the school moved to a larger campus on Ellice Avenue, allowing for dormitory and field space. In 1958 the college section moved to the University of Manitoba Fort Gary campus; it was clear that the school needed a more modern facility and that the need for a student residence was fading. In 1964, the high school relocated to its current location at 2200 Grant Avenue in the Winnipeg neighbourhood of Tuxedo. Mark Chipman
Mark Chipman, (born 1960) is a Canadian hockey executive, businessman, and lawyer. Chipman is best known as the chairman of True North Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League and Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He is also the team's governor and currently a member of the National Hockey League Board of Governors' Executive Committee. Mark Kingwell
Mark Gerald Kingwell (born March 1, 1963) is a Canadian professor of philosophy and associate chair at the University of Toronto's Department of Philosophy. Kingwell is a fellow of Trinity College. He specialises in theories of politics and culture. Kingwell has published twenty books, most notably, ''A Civil Tongue: Justice, Dialogue, and the Politics of Pluralism,'' which was awarded the Spitz Prize for political theory in 1997. Glenn D. Joyal is a Canadian judge, who has been the Chief Justice of the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba since his appointment on February 4, 2011. He replaced Marc M. Monnin, upon his elevation to the Court of Appeal of Manitoba. Joyal pursued Graduate Studies in Public Law and Political Theory at Oxford University in 1995–1996. He received a Master of Arts (with distinction) from the University of Manitoba in 1992 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1986 at McGill University. John Ferguson Jr. (born July 7, 1967) is the current assistant general manager for the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Seattle Kraken are a professional ice hockey team based in Seattle. Chris Driedger (born May 18, 1994) is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL).
