St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery is a private cemetery located in Happy Valley, on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is managed by The Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong together with Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Cape Collinson and St. Raphael's Catholic Cemetery, Cheung Sha Wan. It is also the oldest Catholic cemetery in Hong Kong. Wah Yan College, Hong Kong
Wah Yan College, Hong Kong also referred to by its acronym WYHK is a private Catholic all-boys grant-in-aid secondary education institution run by the China Province of the Society of Jesus in Wan Chai, Hong Kong. It was founded by on 16 December 1919. It was a non-sectarian school when it was founded, and the Jesuits took over the operation of the school in 1932. Subsidised by the Government of Hong Kong, WYCHK is a grammar school using English as the medium of instruction (except Chinese and Chinese History). There are around 60 teachers and 800 students. It is a sister school of Wah Yan College, Kowloon. The school has an enrolment of approximately 800 students with 60 teachers and a few Irish Jesuit fathers. The supervisor of the school is Rev. Fr. Peter Tsao Kwang-yung, CBE (1989) (Chinese: 曹廣榮; born 7 October 1933, Shanghai – died 5 June 2005, Thailand) was a career civil servant of Hong Kong. Tsao was Secretary for Administrative Services and Information (行政司) and Secretary for Home Affairs (政務司) of colonial Hong Kong Government from 1985 to 1991. He was the primary ethnic Chinese individual to be in a secretary-level position during frontier organization. He was described as "Bad Boy Tsao" in headlines in 1986 when he was posted to Brussels as representative for Hong Kong trade relations with the European Union. In 1950, he emigrated to Hong Kong where he was educated at St. Joseph's College, Hong Kong. In 1955 he began working at the Royal Observatory as computing officer (grade III). Harry Fang
Sir Harry Fang Sin-yang, GBM, CBE, JP (, 2 August 1923 – 24 August 2009) was a Hong Kong orthopaedic surgeon, legislator and campaigner who promoted rehabilitation services. He was widely known as the "father of rehabilitation" in Asia. A well-known humanitarian, Harry Fang championed the rights of the disabled and disadvantaged. He co-founded the Hong Kong Society for Rehabilitation, and headed the Rehabilitation International for a period of time. In 2009, he died from complications of a stroke. Biography Fang was born in Nanking in August 1923. Fang's family moved to Shanghai in 1931 and then moved to Hong Kong in 1938. He received his secondary education at the King's College, Hong Kong, and his degree of medicine from the University of Hong Kong. Dr. Raymond Wu Wai-yung, GBS (15 May 1936 – 3 October 2006) was a Hong Kong pro-Beijing politician and doctor. Wu was educated at the Wah Yan College, Hong Kong and graduated from the University of Hong Kong with the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMMS) in 1963. He served as president of the Hong Kong Medical Association from 1984 to 1988. In 1997, he was decorated the Officer of the Order of the British Empire for his services to psychiatric rehabilitation in Hong Kong.
