St. Marys Lincolns
The St. Marys Lincolns are a junior ice hockey team based in St. Marys, Ontario, Canada. They play in the Western division of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League. History Founded in 1956, the Lincolns have never missed a season. The team survived a rather revolutionary era in Ontario hockey. In 1964, they walked away from the old Western Ontario Junior B Hockey League and joined the Central Junior B Hockey League to avoid the eventual jump the Western made to Junior A. The Lincolns joined the current Western Junior "B" league in 1969. Behind the Waterloo Siskins, the Lincolns are the second oldest Junior "B" team in all of Ontario. Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League
The Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) is a Canadian junior ice hockey league based in Southern Ontario, Canada. The league is sanctioned by the Ontario Hockey Association, Ontario Hockey Federation, and Hockey Canada. The league is considered Junior B by the OHA, although it has attempted several times to be promoted to Junior A. The league was created in 2007 through the merging of the Western Ontario Hockey League, Mid-Western Junior Hockey League, and Golden Horseshoe Junior Hockey League to dissuade perceived "player raiding" from teams in the then- Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League. The twenty-five teams of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League come from Southwestern Ontario and the Golden Horseshoe. Terry Crisp
Terrance Arthur Crisp (born May 28, 1943) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey coach and player. Crisp played ten seasons in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins, St. Louis Blues, New York Islanders and Philadelphia Flyers between 1965 and 1977. Crisp coached for 11 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Philadelphia Flyers, Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning. He currently is a radio and TV broadcaster for the Nashville Predators. On October 30, 2021, the Predators announced Crisp will be retiring from his broadcast duties at the end of the 2021-22 season. Crisp was a member of two Stanley Cup championship teams with the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1970s, and later coached the Calgary Flames to the title in 1989. Nathan Perrott
Nathan A. Perrott (born December 8, 1976) is a Canadian professional boxer and former professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Nashville Predators, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Dallas Stars between 2001 and 2006. He currently works as a fire fighter at Bruce Power in Tiverton, Ontario. Hockey career Perrott was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in the second round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft, with the 44th overall pick. Unsigned by New Jersey, he became a member of the Chicago Blackhawks for three and a half years before being traded to the Nashville Predators in 2001. Calahan O'Reilly (born September 30, 1986) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently under contract to the Lehigh Valley Phantoms of the American Hockey League (AHL). O'Reilly's younger brother Ryan is captain of the St. Louis Blues. Playing career O'Reilly grew up in the small community of Seaforth, Ontario playing minor hockey for the Seaforth Stars and the Huron-Perth Lakers (MHAO). Mike Minard
Michael Edward Roger Minard (born November 1, 1976) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in one National Hockey League game for the Edmonton Oilers during the 1999–00 season. Playing career Minard played with the Chilliwack Chiefs in the British Columbia Junior Hockey League (BCJHL) in the 1994–95 season, earning Coastal Rookie of the Year and Goaltender of the Year honours before he was selected in the fourth round, 83rd overall, by the Edmonton Oilers in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. Most of his career was spent in the American Hockey League, and his lone NHL game came on April 8, 2000 against the Calgary Flames. Steve Miller (linesman)
Steve Miller (born July 22, 1972 in Stratford, Ontario) is a Canadian National Hockey League linesman who wore #89. Miller retired from officiating in 2022. Career Miller's career highlights include the 2006 Winter Olympics the NHL All-Star Game, Memorial Cup, World Junior Hockey Championship the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Stanley Cup Finals. Michael McLaughlin (born October 6, 1956) is an American former professional stock car racing driver. Nicknamed Magic Shoes, McLaughlin was a perennial fan favorite, winning the Most Popular Driver award in 1997. He also scored several wins and top-5 points finishes in the points standings in the NASCAR Busch Series. Early career McLaughlin grew up in New York State and began his professional career at a later stage than most other drivers, competing in his first race at age 20 in a dirt modified he built. Mark Mancari (born July 11, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey right winger. Mancari was drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the seventh round (207th overall) of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. Playing career After playing four seasons in the Ontario Hockey League with the Ottawa 67's, Mancari made his professional debut with the Sabres' American Hockey League affiliate, the Rochester Americans, in the 2005–06 season. Don Luce
Donald Harold Luce (born October 2, 1948) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre, executive and scout. Luce played 13 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Buffalo Sabres, Los Angeles Kings and Toronto Maple Leafs from 1969 to 1982. After his playing career, Luce moved into a long career in player development for the Sabres and the Philadelphia Flyers. He is currently working as a pro scout for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Lonnie Loach
Lonnie Loach (born April 14, 1968) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. Loach spent the majority of his career in the IHL but also played briefly in the NHL with the Ottawa Senators, Los Angeles Kings, and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. He played left wing and shot left-handed. Playing career After one season with the Guelph Platers of the OHL Loach was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the fifth round, 98th overall in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft. Seth Griffith (born January 4, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who is currently playing with the Bakersfield Condors in the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL).
