St. Kiprian Peak
St. Kiprian Peak ( bg, връх Св. Киприан, vrah Sv. Kiprian, ) is a rocky peak of elevation 270 m in the southeast extremity of Breznik Heights on Greenwich Island, Antarctica. Situated 1.54 km east of Vratsa Peak, 1.7 km south of Ilarion Ridge, 1.63 km west of Fort Point, and 800 m northeast of Kormesiy Peak. Overlooking Musala Glacier to the north. Antarctic Place-names Commission
The Antarctic Place-names Commission was established by the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute in 1994, and since 2001 has been a body affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria. The Commission approves Bulgarian place names in Antarctica, which are formally given by the President of the Republic according to the Bulgarian Constitution (Art. 98) and the established international practice. Bulgarian names in Antarctica Geographical names in Antarctica reflect the history and practice of Antarctic exploration. Metropolitan Bishop
In Christian churches with episcopal polity, the rank of metropolitan bishop, or simply metropolitan (alternative obsolete form: metropolite), pertains to the diocesan bishop or archbishop of a metropolis.
