Sriram Sagar Project
The Sriram Sagar Project is also known as the Pochampadu Project is an Indian flood-flow project on the Godavari. The Project is located in Nizamabad district, 3 km away from National Highway 44. It has been described by The Hindu as a "lifeline for a large part of Telangana". Sriramsagar is an irrigation project across river Godavari in Telangana to serve irrigational needs in Karimnagar, Warangal, Adilabad, Nizamabad, and Khammam districts. It also provides drinking water to Warangal city. There is a hydroelectric plant working at the dam site, with 4 turbines each with 9 MW capacity generating 36 MW. Godavari River
The Godavari (IAST: ''Godāvarī'' od̪aːʋəɾiː is India's second longest river after the Ganga river and drains into the third largest basin in India, covering about 10% of India's total geographical area. SRSP Flood Flow Canal
SRSP Flood Flow Canal (Telugu:) also known as Sriram Sagar Flood Flow Canal (SRSP FFC), is a 130 km long gravity canal from Sriram Sagar Project, Village & Mandal Mupkal, Nizamabad District to Mid Manair Dam, Manwada Village, Karimnagar District, Telangana. History This Canal initiated as part of Sriram Sagar stage-II in which the foundation stone was laid by the former prime minister P. V. Narasimha Rao in 1991. With this Canal the surplus water from Sriram Sagar Project can be taken into Mid Manair Dam to utilize another 25 tmcft and also it can be used to fill the Lower Manair Dam at Karimnagar City. Nizam Sagar Dam is an Indian dam named after the Nizam of Hyderabad. Krishna Water Disputes Tribunal
Government of India constituted a common tribunal on 10 April 1969 to adjudicate the river water utilization disputes among the river basin states of Krishna River, Krishna and Godavari River, Godavari rivers under the provisions of Interstate River Water Disputes Act – 1956. The common tribunal was headed by Sri RS Bachawat as its chairman with Sri DM Bhandari and Sri DM Sen as its members. Alisagar Lift Irrigation Scheme
Alisagar is a park, tourist attraction and an irrigation project which is 13 km (6.2 mi) from Nizamabad and 2 km (1.2 mi) off the Nizamabad-Bodhan road. Interstate River Water Disputes Act

Pranahita Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme
The Pranahita Chevella Lift Irrigation Project is a lift irrigation project to harness the water of Pranhita tributary of Godavari river for use in the Telangana state of India. The river water diversion barrage across the Pranahita river is located at Thammidihatti village in Komaram Bheem district of Telangana. The Babli project / barrage is a controversial reservoir project being constructed by Maharashtra across the river Godavari, disputed by Telangana. The Supreme Court of India delivered a ruling after seven years in favour of Maharashtra with the Andhra Pradesh government expected to appeal against it.
