Sri Lankan Cricket Team In Zimbabwe In 2016–17
Sri Lankan national cricket team toured Zimbabwe from October to November 2016. The tour was originally scheduled to consist of a two Test matches, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and a single Twenty20 international (T20I), but in September 2016 the one-day matches were replaced by a triangular series featuring Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka and the West Indies and that the tour of Zimbabwe would be reduced to just the two Test matches. Sri Lanka won the series 2–0. Sri Lanka last played Zimbabwe in a Test match in 2004. The first Test of the series was the 100th Test match played by Zimbabwe. The second Test of the series used the Decision Review System. This was the first time the technology was used in a game in Zimbabwe, having previously been unavailable due to cost. Graeme Cremer
Alexander Graeme Cremer (born 19 September 1986) is a former Zimbabwean cricketer who was the captain of the Zimbabwe national cricket team, between May 2016 and March 2018. He is a leg-spinner who got into the Zimbabwe side at the age of eighteen, following the exits of Paul Strang, Andy Whittall and Ray Price.. In January 2019, Cremer put his cricketing career on hold to relocate to Dubai to be with his family. Niroshan Dickwella
Dickwella Patabendige Dilantha Niroshan Dickwella, known as Niroshan Dickwella (born 23 June 1993), is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays all formats of the game for Sri Lanka. Angelo Mathews
Angelo Davis Mathews, (Tamil: அஞ்செலோ மத்தியூஸ்; born 2 June 1987) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and a former captain in all formats. Even though he represented Sri Lanka in all three formats, Mathews currently plays Test cricket for Sri Lanka. He was also a key member of the team that won the 2014 ICC World Twenty20 and was part of the team that made the finals of 2011 Cricket World Cup, 2009 ICC World Twenty20 and 2012 ICC World Twenty20. Malcolm Noel Waller (born 28 September 1984) is a Zimbabwean professional cricketer, who plays all formats of the game. He is a middle-order batsman and off-spinner. In December 2014, he was suspended from bowling by the International Cricket Council (ICC) due to his deliveries exceeding the permitted tolerance. Donald Tatenda Tiripano (born 17 March 1988) is a Zimbabwean cricketer, who plays for the national team. He is a right-arm fast bowler and tail-ended batsman. Domestic career He was the leading run-scorer in the 2017–18 Logan Cup for Mountaineers, with 678 runs in eight matches. Sikandar Raza
Sikandar Raza Butt (} ; born 24 April 1986) is a Pakistani-born Zimbabwean international cricketer, who plays all formats primarily as a batter. Born in Sialkot, Raza emigrated to Zimbabwe in 2002 along with his family. He soon became one of the best batsman in the domestic competition and caught the eye of the Zimbabwe selectors. The only problem was citizenship issues, which was granted in 2011. Early life Raza was born in Sialkot to a Punjabi speaking Kashmiri family. Carl Mumba (born 6 May 1995) is a Zimbabwean cricketer who plays for Mid West Rhinos. He made his Test cricket debut for the Zimbabwe cricket team in October 2016. Christopher Bobby "Chris" Mpofu (born 27 November 1985) is a Zimbabwean international cricketer. He has represented Zimbabwe at Test, ODI and Twenty20 International level. Peter Joseph Moor (born 2 February 1991) is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He plays as a wicket-keeper batsman and is a former vice-captain for the Zimbabwe cricket team. Moor holds an Irish passport, and since 2021, he has been playing cricket in Ireland with an aim to qualify to play for the Ireland cricket team.
