Sri Krishna (singer)
Sri Krishna (born on 17 August 1983) is a Telugu playback singer, born in Hyderabad and brought up in Vijayawada. He was the winner of the singing competition ''Paadaalani Vundi'' hosted by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam on Maa TV. He debuted as playback singer with the film ''Maa Ilavelpu'', released in 2004. Early life Krishna started his career as a child anchor in Akashvani, Vijayawada and then participated in various stage shows and singing competitions. He completed his bachelors degree in P. B. Siddhartha Arts College and post graduation in Sarada college, in Vijayawada. Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad, India. The nickname ''Tollywood'' is a portmanteau of the words Telugu and Hollywood. By 2021, it has emerged as the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office.
