Springbank is a rural community in southern Alberta in Rocky View County. It is located immediately west of the Calgary, City of Calgary, east of Alberta Highway 22, Highway 22, south of the Bow River and north of the rural community of Elbow Valley, Alberta, Elbow Valley. Both the Trans-Canada Highway and Lower Springbank Road (north of Alberta Highway 8, Highway 8) connect Springbank to Calgary. Springbank Community High School is a public senior high school in Springbank, Alberta, Canada. Located on the west side of the city of Calgary, the school provides programming to students in grades nine to twelve from the communities of Bragg Creek, Springbank, Redwood Meadows and parts of Calgary’s western edge. Springbank Hill is a large and diverse suburb near the western city limit of Calgary, Alberta in the southwest (SW) quadrant. It is bounded to the north by 17 Avenue SW, to the south by Stoney Trail, to the east by 69 Street SW and to the west by 101 Street SW. Springbank Hill is sometimes confused with the much older unincorporated rural community of Springbank, located to the west of the city in Rocky View County. The Springbank Airport acts as a general aviation reliever for Calgary's main airport, Calgary International, the 5th busiest airport in Canada by total aircraft movements in 2020 and 2021. Springbank Distillery
The Springbank distillery is a family-owned single malt whisky distillery on the Kintyre Peninsula in western Scotland. It is owned by J & A Mitchell & Company, which also owns the Glengyle distillery, the oldest independent bottler, William Cadenheads, and several blended scotch labels. Licensed in 1828, Springbank is one of the last surviving producers of single malt whiskies in Campbeltown, an area that once had over thirty active distilleries. The distillery produces three types of peated and unpeated malt whisky that it bottles under three distinct brands. The majority of its distillate is bottled as a single malt, with a small percentage sold to larger blenders or ending up in one of J&A Mitchell's own blended scotch labels, such as Campbeltown Loch. Springbank (Old Lyme, Connecticut)
Springbank is a historic country estate at 69 Neck Road in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Built upon a small core structure dating from around 1730, the main house consists of an 1844 Greek Revival brick structure, to which a number of Colonial Revival additions and alterations were made between about 1930 and 1945. The property also includes formal gardens designed by landscape architect Marian Cruger Coffin. Springbank is a historic home located at Roslyn Harbor in Nassau County, New York. It was built about 1835 and expanded and modified in 1880. A two-story rear addition was completed in 1959. It exhibits building construction and stylistic details from a number of periods. The first renovation was a conversion of the original simple dwelling to a Swiss cottage style building. Details added include the Dutch door main entry, full front porch, overhanging roof, front dormer, and a seven-foot addition. It features a deep front porch on the front elevation with sawn brackets.
