Spring Subway
''Spring Subway'' () is a 2002 Chinese romance film directed by Zhang Yibai and starring Xu Jinglei and Geng Le. Sixth Generation director Zhang Yang also plays a role. The film represents a relatively new genre in China, the artistic "commercial film" with its international urban sensibilities designed to appeal to young middle-class Chinese. ''Spring Subway'' is a stylistic film that plays with chronological conventions and flashbacks, and with characters that often break the fourth wall to directly address the audience. Zhang Yibai
Zhang Xiaoling, better known by his stage name Zhang Yibai () (born 14 April 1963, in Chongqing, China) is a Chinese film director, screenwriter and producer. Directorial career Zhang began his career in television and music videos before directing his debut, ''Spring Subway'' in 2002. Zhang, like many other modern Chinese directors, has focused primarily on life in modern Chinese cities. ''Spring Subway'', for example, follows its protagonist as he wanders through Beijing's subway system, while the mystery-thriller ''Curiosity Killed the Cat'' follows its characters through the central China boomtown of Chongqing (also Zhang's hometown). Seattle International Film Festival
The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), held annually in Seattle, Washington since 1976, is among the top film festivals in North America. Wang Xiaoshuai (; born May 22, 1966) is a Chinese film director, screenwriter and occasional actor. He is commonly grouped under the loose association of filmmakers known as the "Sixth Generation" of the Cinema of China. Yu Quan
Yu·Quan () is a Chinese soft rock duet. They were founded in June 1998 as a duo between Chen Yufan, Chen Yufan (陈羽凡) and Hu Haiquan (胡海泉). They are from Beijing and Shenyang, Liaoning respectively. Both members were born in 1975. They were signed with Taiwanese music distributor Rock Records in 1999. Since then the duo has published a total of nine albums, with over seven million records sold. The duo is very well received in mainland China.
