Sportvereniging Belisia Bilzen is a football club based in Bilzen, Limburg, Belgium. The club is affiliated to the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) with ''matricule'' 5775 and has sky blue as club colour. History Rapid Spouwen (1950–2002) The club joined the Royal Belgian Football Association (KBVB) with ''matricule'' 5775 as Rapid Spouwen in 1954, starting its existence in the Belgian Provincial Leagues. In 1974, Spouwen reached the national divisions for the first time. They were able to maintain themselves in the Belgian Fourth Division for several years. In 1976, the second season in Fourth Division, they even finished second place in the league, albeit at a distance from winners White Star FC Beverst. 2009–10 Belgian Cup
The 2009–10 Belgian Cup (also known as ''Cofidis Cup'' because of sponsoring purposes) was the 55th season of the main knockout football competition in Belgium. It commenced on 25 July 2009 with the first matches of Round 1 and concluded with the Final on 15 May 2010. Genk were the defending champions. The competition was won by Gent. Competition format The competition consists of ten rounds. The first seven rounds are held as single-match elimination rounds. If the match remains tied after 90 minutes in the first three rounds, penalties are taken immediately. In rounds four to seven, when tied after 90 minutes first an extra time period of 30 minutes is played followed by penalties if still necessary. Luc Gilbert Cyrille Nilis (born 25 May 1967) is a Belgian professional football manager and former player who is the head coach of Belgian Division 2 club Belisia Bilzen. He enjoyed a successful career in his native Belgium and, in particular, in the Netherlands with PSV. His playing days came to an end in the 2000–01 season after breaking his leg in a match with his club Aston Villa following a clash with Ipswich Town goalkeeper Richard Wright. Bilzen
Bilzen () is a city and a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. In 2021, Bilzen had a total population of 32,536. The total area is 75.90 km² which gives a population density of 426 inhabitants per km². Bilzen consists of the city of Bilzen and the following villages: , Eigenbilzen, , , , , , , , Rijkhoven, , and . It was in 1977 that they all became part of the municipality Bilzen because of the fusion of municipalities. Leander Dendoncker (born 15 April 1995) is a Belgian professional footballer who plays as either a defender or defensive midfielder for Premier League club Aston Villa and the Belgium national team. The AFAS Stadion is a football stadium in Mechelen, Belgium. It is used for football matches and is the home ground of KV Mechelen. Currently, the ground has a capacity of 16,672. Giuseppe Rossini (born 23 August 1986) is a Belgian footballer who plays as a striker for Olympic Namur in the Belgian Provincial Leagues. Club career Youth career Rossini was born in Bari, Italy, but at age four he moved to La Louvière with his family. Rossini started playing football at local club RFC Houdeng. Aloys Bertrand Nong (born 16 October 1983 in Douala) is a Cameroonian footballer. Club career Nong was born in Douala. He moved to Belgium in 2000, aged 16, and signed with SC Eendracht Aalst.
