One PH is a 24/7 Tagalog-language teleradio news channel owned by MediaQuest Holdings, Inc. through Cignal TV. It was soft launched on February 18, 2019 and was officially launched on July 31, 2019, on satellite provider Cignal. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines Football Championship is usually held during the second semester of the school year (December–April). Tournament format The tournament has three divisions: men, women and boys. As of season 77 (2014–15), eight member universities field a team in the men's division and five in the women's division. The number of participating schools increased to eight from seven in the men's division. Adamson University fielded a men's team in Season 77 (2014–15). Adamson made its return in men's football after more than a decade of absence. UAAP Baseball Championship
Baseball in the UAAP is an all-male sport. Six teams are participating in the seniors division while there are four teams in the juniors division. Baseball was introduced as a sport in the seniors division in 1938. In the juniors division, Baseball was added as a demonstration sport in Season 74 (2011–12) as there were only three teams participating. In Season 80 (2017–18), it was elevated to a regular sport since the number of participating teams increased to four. The Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation, Inc. (CESAFI) is a sports and academic association of 14 schools, colleges and universities in Cebu, Philippines. The CESAFI was established in 2001. The Pilipinas Super League (PSL) is a professional basketball league in the Philippines. History The Pilipinas Super League (PSL) was founded in December 2021 by former officials of another league; the Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup. It was established by former VisMin Cup CEO Rocky Chan and former COO Chelito Caro. Chan assumed the post of PSL President and Caro as the league commissioner. Former professional basketballer Marc Pingris was appointed as commissioner in January 2022 succeeding Caro. The PSL aims to garner at least 10 teams for its inaugural season. The Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup, also known as GlobalPort Pilipinas VisMin Super Cup due to sponsorship reasons, is a professional basketball league in the Philippines. The league comprises teams from the Visayas and Mindanao regions of the Philippines. The league is the first basketball league to be based in the Visayas–Mindanao region since the Mindanao Visayas Basketball Association (MVBA), which merged with the National Basketball Conference in 2008 to form Liga Pilipinas, which folded in 2011. As with its predecessors, the league aims to find and scout talent from southern Philippines (which comprises the Visayas and Mindanao regions). The Filipino Basketball League, also known as Filbasket, is a professional basketball league founded in 2021 in the Philippines. Its first season was launched on October 28, 2021, featured eleven teams and ran for a period of 26 days. AICC Manila clinched the league title.
