The Primera División of Costa Rica, commonly known as Fútbol de Primera División (FPD), and Liga Promerica for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional association football division in Costa Rica. Dennis Castillo Romero (born April 30, 1993) is a Costa Rican footballer who plays for Sporting San José in Liga FPD. Prior to playing for Sporting, Castillo played for Pérez Zeledón in Liga FPD, the Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer and the Charlotte Independence in the United Soccer League. Christopher Meneses Barrantes (born May 2, 1990) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a defender for Sporting San José. Roy Miller Hernández (born November 24, 1984) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a defender for Sporting San José. Career Club Miller began his career in the youth ranks of Cartaginés. In 2002, he went on trial with Argentine side Olimpo de Bahía Blanca, but was unable to acclimate himself to the club and returned to Costa Rica.
