The men's triple jump event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place between 3 and 5 August 2021 at the Japan National Stadium. Hugues Fabrice Zango (born 25 June 1993) is a Burkinabé athlete who specialises in the triple jump and the long jump. Pending ratification, he is the world indoor record holder in the triple jump with a jump of set in 2021. Zango competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan in the triple jump event, the first ever Olympic medal for Burkina Faso. He has also competed in World Championships, two African athletics championships, a Jeux de la Francophonie, two Summer Universiades and two African Games. Tour Du Faso
The Tour du Faso is a 10-day road bicycle racing stage race held in Burkina Faso in the late fall. The race is organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation, which also organises the Tour de France, and since 2005, the race has been part of the UCI Africa Tour. The race was first held in 1987 and until 1998 was reserved for amateurs. Since 2005, it is organised as a 2.2 event on the UCI Africa Tour.
