''Spooky Songs for Creepy Kids'' is a compilation album released in 2010 by Cuban American dark cabaret singer Voltaire. It is a collection of Voltaire's songs, ranging from 1998's '' The Devil's Bris'' to 2008's '' To the Bottom of the Sea'', with lyrics slightly modified in order to be more child-friendly (done by removing profanity and references to sexual intercourse). It also features some songs that were adapted in order to suit better for the world of the MMORPG ''AdventureQuest Worlds'', in which Voltaire usually participates. Aurelio Voltaire Hernández (born January 25, 1967), professionally known as Aurelio Voltaire or simply as Voltaire, is a Cuban-American musician, singer, and composer. His professional name is Voltaire, his given middle-name. Name In the past, when asked about his real name, Voltaire avoided the question or implied that his real name is in fact Voltaire. Voltaire chose to use his middle name as his performance name because his namesake "saw through the hypocrisies of humanity and commented on them through satire. ''AdventureQuest Worlds'' (often shortened to ''AQ Worlds'' or simply ''AQW'') is a browser-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) released by Artix Entertainment in 2008. Gameplay Players are asked to choose from one of four "starting classes" (warrior, rogue, mage, or healer), each with different strengths and weaknesses. ''Then and Again'' is the fourth studio album by Cuban American dark cabaret singer Voltaire, released on October 26, 2004, through Projekt Records. Contrasting with most of Voltaire's albums, on which his songs are mostly humorous and satirical, ''Then and Again'' features more serious and introspective songs, dealing about love, heartbreak and the human condition. "Goodnight Demonslayer" is a lullaby composed by Voltaire for his son Mars, then an infant. " Lovesong" is a cover of The Cure. The song "Halló elskan mín" is partially sung in Icelandic. ''Ooky Spooky'' is the fifth studio album by Cuban American dark cabaret/Dark Wave singer Voltaire. It was released on July 31, 2007 by Projekt Records, being the last Voltaire album to do so, since his contract with Projekt Records expired. Voltaire has stated that he wanted this album to be more fun and silly, as opposed to his more serious albums, ''Almost Human'' (2000) and ''Boo-Hoo'' (2002). Voltaire worked with Amanda Palmer of The Dresden Dolls on the song "Stuck with You", which is about an unhappily married couple who cannot divorce because of their religion. Live versions of the songs "Cantina", "Zombie Prostitute..." and "Hell in a Handbasket" have already been released on ''Live!''.
