Spooks (series 7)
The seventh series of the BBC espionage television series '' Spooks'' (known as ''MI-5'' in the United States) began broadcasting on 27 October 2008 on BBC One before ending on 8 December 2008 on the same channel, and consists of eight episodes, two fewer than previous series. It follows the actions of Section D, a counter-terrorism division in MI5. The primary storyline involves Sugarhorse, a top secret operation set up by MI5 during the final years of the Cold War, and a mole working for the FSB who intends to leak the operation to the Russians. Peter Firth, Rupert Penry-Jones, Hermione Norris, Richard Armitage, Miranda Raison, Gemma Jones, Hugh Simon and Alex Lanipekun are credited as the main cast. Penry-Jones announced his intention to leave the series in December 2007, while it was later announced Armitage would join. BBC One

Broadcasters' Audience Research Board
The Broadcasters Audience Research Board (BARB) is a British organisation that compiles audience measurement and television ratings in the United Kingdom. It was created in 1981 to replace two previous systems whereby ITV ratings were compiled by JICTAR (Joint Industry Committee for Television Audience Research), whilst the BBC did their own audience research. BARB is jointly owned by the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky and the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising. Participating viewers have a box on top of their TV sets which tracks the programmes they watch. Malcolm Wynn-Jones
Malcolm Wynn-Jones (born 29 December 1958 in Dunvant, Wales; full name Malcolm Peregrine Geoffrey St. John Wynn Jones) was the first MI5 analyst, featured in the British television series '' Spooks'', also known as ''MI5'' in the United States. Malcolm was played by Hugh Simon from start of ''Spooks'' in 2002 until the character retired at the start of Series 8 in 2009. The character however, made a return in the later stage of Series 9 in 2010. Malcolm returned in '' Spooks: The Greater Good''. Spooks profile Malcolm served as a technician and data analyst for the team. In the script for one of his first episodes, he is described as being "an odd-looking man in a bow-tie. Split Loyalties
"Split Loyalties" is the second episode of series seven of the British espionage television series '' Spooks'', and the 58th episode overall. It was originally broadcast on BBC Three on 27 October 2008, and repeated on frontline channel BBC One the following day. The episode was written by head writer Neil Cross; with additional writing by Ben Richards; and directed by Colm McCarthy. The episode is considered the second of a two-part story, following preceding episode " New Allegiances". In the episode, Sir Harry Pearce ( Peter Firth) is determined to carry out his revenge on London's FSB head of operations Arkady Kachimov ( Stuart Wilson), who in the previous episode purposely withheld intelligence that caused the death of Adam Carter. However, the MI5 team discover he is overseeing a cyber attack in progress, and returned officer Lucas North ( Richard Armitage) may be involved. Rosalind Sarah Myers is a fictional character from the BBC television series '' Spooks'', which follows the exploits of Section D, a counter-terrorism division in MI5. Adam Carter
Adam Henry Carter is a fictional Character (arts), character from the BBC espionage television series ''Spooks (TV series), Spooks'', which follows the exploits of Section D, a counter-terrorism division of MI5. He is portrayed by British actor Rupert Penry-Jones. The character is a former MI6 officer who takes charge as the chief of Section D, and hence the head protagonist following the departure of Tom Quinn (Spooks), Tom Quinn in series three.
