Spono Eagles is a Swiss women's handball club from Nottwil founded in 1971. Reaching the Swiss Premium League in 1988, it has been a regular in EHF competitions since the 1990s, and it won three national championships between 2000 and 2006. The Women's EHF European League is an annual competition for women's handball clubs of Europe. It is organized by the EHF. It is currently the second-tier competition of European club handball, ranking only below the EHF Champions League. Previously called the Women's EHF Cup, the competition will be known as the Women's EHF European League from the 2020–21 season. History The first edition took place in 1981. DHC Slavia Prague the Czech women's handball section of Czech omnisport club SK Slavia Prague. It was established in 1919. They are currently competing in the MOL Liga and the Czech Women's Handball League. The team won four Czechoslovak championships between 1926 and 1935.
