Split City Derby
Split city derby ( hr, Splitski gradski derbi) or Derby of St. Duje (town's patron saint) is the name given to matches between Hajduk and RNK, two clubs from the Adriatic city of Split. The teams are supported by their fanbases called Hajduk's Torcida and Split's Crveni đavoli. Games are played on two nearby stadiums, Poljud and Park Mladeži. History Derby between Hajduk and Split dates back to the days of Kingdom of Yugoslavia in the early 1920s after clubs were founded only one year apart. The first match between the two was an exhibition on 16 Mar 1919 between Hajduk and Anarh, ending in 11-0 Hajduk win. Frane Matošić
Frane Matošić (25 November 1918 – 29 October 2007) was a Croatian football player and coach who played as a striker. He is regarded as one of Hajduk Split's greatest players and he is the club's all-time leading goalscorer. Playing career Club Born in Split, Matošić started to play football with HNK Hajduk from Split. In his very first game for ''Hajduk'' in 1935 against '' Slavija'' from Sarajevo, Matošić scored two goals. He played 16 seasons for Hajduk. His older brother Jozo Matošić was also football player with whom he was a teammate at Hajduk. While serving the obligatory military service in the season 1939, he played for the BSK from Belgrade. Next season, season 1939–40, he returned to Hajduk. After Hajduk's management suspending the work of Hajduk in 1941, he went abroad to play for Bologna, played in season of 1942–43. In sport, score is a quantitative measure of the relative performance of opponents in a sporting discipline. Croatian Football Cup
The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa Conference League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best placed team in the Prva HNL who haven't qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance. The Hrvatska nogometna liga () ( en, Croatian football league), also known as HNL or for sponsorship reasons the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football (soccer), football league competition, established in 1992. Previously, it was called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (First Croatian Football League), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels. Franck Ohandza Zoa (born 28 September 1991) is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Heilongjiang Ice City. Club career Born in Ngong, Cameroon, Ohandza began playing football for the youth side of local club Daga Young Stars. The 2010–11 Croatian First Football League (officially known as T-Com Prva HNL for sponsorship reasons) was the 20th season of the Croatian First Football League, the national championship for men's association football teams in Croatia, since its establishment in 1992.
