Spirit Of Akasha
''Spirit of Akasha'' is an Australian surfing film. Its soundtrack album was nominated for a 2014 ARIA Awards, ARIA Award for ARIA Award for Best Original Soundtrack, Cast or Show Album, Best Original Soundtrack, Cast or Show Album. Film ''Spirit of Akasha'' is a follow-up to ''Morning of the Earth'' directed by Andrew Kidman. It was an attempt to "recapture the values and spirit that was represented in ''Morning of the Earth'' but this time also feature women surfing." It debuted at the Sydney Opera House on the 25th of January 2014. It was filmed in 2012 and 2013 and the surfers featured include Sam Yoon, Mick Fanning, Stephanie Gilmore, Tom Curren, Kelly Slater, Ellis Ericson, Kye and Joel Fitzgerald, Heath Joske, and Harrison Roach. Pond (Australian Band)
Pond are a psychedelic rock band from Perth, Western Australia, formed in 2008. Initially featuring a revolving line-up, since 2016 the band has consisted of Nick Allbrook, Jay Watson, Shiny Joe Ryan, Jamie Terry, and James Ireland. Pond is often heavily associated with fellow Perth-based psychedelic rock/pop band Tame Impala, as members of both groups are longtime close friends and collaborators. Watson is currently a full-time member of both acts. Lead singer Allbrook contributed to both bands from 2009 to 2013 before leaving Tame Impala to focus on Pond and his own solo career. Dirty Three
Dirty Three is an Australian instrumental rock band, consisting of Warren Ellis (violin and bass guitar), Mick Turner (electric and bass guitars) and Jim White (drums), which formed in 1992. Brian George Cadd AM (born 29 November 1946) is an Australian singer-songwriter, keyboardist, producer and record label founder, a staple of Australian entertainment for over 50 years. Xavier Rudd (born 29 May 1978) is an Australian singer, songwriter, musician, and multi-instrumentalist.
