Spirit Circle
is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoshi Mizukami. It was serialized in Shōnen Gahōsha's '' Young King OURs'' magazine from May 2012 to March 2016. The manga received a digital simulpub release by Crunchyroll Manga, while Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the series for a print release. Plot Fuuta Okeya is a high school student who can see ghosts and has a strange mark on his cheek that he hides. When Kouko Ishigami, a new student, arrives in his class with a scar on her forehead and accompanied by a ghost named East, Fuuta's tranquillity ends. After a failed attempt by Fuuta to make friends with Kouko and after she sees his mark, Kouko declares him to be her enemy, attacking him with a mysterious spiritual circle made of flames. Satoshi Mizukami (Japanese: 水上 悟志 Hepburn: ''Mizukami Satoshi'', born February 20, 1980, in Osaka) is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known as the creator of ''Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer'', ''Spirit Circle'', and the anime television series '' Planet With''. Biography Mizukami was born in Osaka on February 20, 1980. The is a Japanese speculative fiction award given each year for the best science fiction works and achievements during the previous calendar year. Organized and overseen by , the awards are given at the annual Nihon SF Taikai, Japan Science Fiction Convention. It is the oldest SF award in Japan, being given since the 9th Japan Science Fiction Convention in 1970. "Seiun", the Japanese word for "nebula", was taken from the first professional science fiction magazine in Japan, which had a short run in 1954. The award is not related to the American Nebula Award.
