William "Spike" Pratt, played by James Marsters, is a fictional character created by Joss Whedon and David Greenwalt for the television series ''Buffy the Vampire Slayer'' and ''Angel''. The Buffyverse or Slayerverse is a Multimedia franchise, media franchise created by Joss Whedon.
