Spider Bags
Spider Bags is an alternative rock band from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band was founded by Daniel McGee and Gregg Levy in 2006 after McGee's old band, the DC Snipers, broke up. Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles has described Spider Bags as "America’s most underrated band". Their debut album, ''A Celebration of Hunger'', was recorded over a two-day period in February 2005 in Chapel Hill, and was released in 2007. The lineup on this album included not only McGee and Levy, but also a number of other musicians McGee knew from both North Carolina and New Jersey. Soon afterward, the New Jersey-born McGee moved to the Research Triangle area near Chapel Hill, and Levy followed suit shortly thereafter. Chapel Hill is a town in Orange, Durham and Chatham counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Titus Andronicus (band)
Titus Andronicus is an American indie rock band formed in Glen Rock, New Jersey, in 2005. The band is composed of singer-lyricist-guitarist Patrick Stickles, guitarist Liam Betson, bassist R.J. Gordon, and drummer Chris Wilson. The group takes its name from the Shakespeare play '' Titus Andronicus'', and has cited musical and stylistic influences such as Neutral Milk Hotel and Pulp. Career Titus Andronicus's first album, '' The Airing of Grievances'', was released in April 2008 and was described as the sound of a "violent, overblown and irreverent" indie band in a positive review by '' Pitchfork''. Patrick Stickles (born July 28, 1985) is an American musician and the lead singer, frontman, and songwriter of New Jersey-based punk rock band Titus Andronicus. Stickles grew up in Glen Rock, New Jersey and graduated from Glen Rock High School as part of the class of 2004. Musical career Stickles started Titus Andronicus in 2005 when he was a student at Ramapo College Ramapo College of New Jersey (RCNJ) is a public liberal arts college in Mahwah, New Jersey. It is part of New Jersey's public system of higher education. As of the fall 2021 semester, there were a total of 5,732 students enrolled at the college ....
