Spider-Man Family
''Spider-Man Family'' (later retitled ''The Amazing Spider-Man Family'') is a comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It began as a series of one-shots written and penciled by various writers and artists before becoming a bi-monthly ongoing series with the first issue cover-dated February 2007. Its initial writer was Sean McKeever. Each issue of ''Spider-Man Family'' contained brand new stories featuring Spider-Man and his supporting cast, reprints of classic Spider-Man tales, and an English translation of the original Japanese manga, '' Spider-Man J''. In June 2008, ''Spider-Man Family'' was relaunched as ''The Amazing Spider-Man Family'', and became a showcase title for many of the divergent timelines that were present at this point in the franchise. In addition to strips set in the ''Brand New Day'' timeline, a strip exploring the early days of Peter Parker's life as Spider-Man was also included. Evolving from Timely Comics in 1939, ''Magazine Management/Atlas Comics'' in 1951 and its predecessor, ''Marvel Mystery Comics'', the ''Marvel Comics'' title/name/brand was first used in June 1961. Clayton Henry
Clayton Henry is a comic book artist, known mostly for his work for Marvel Comics. His first known works were providing the art on ''Nine Rings Of Wu-Tang'' and ''Area 52'', and has since worked on such series as ''Exiles'', '' Alpha Flight'', '' New X-Men: Hellions'', '' X-Men: Apocalypse vs. Dracula'', and currently '' Uncanny X-Men''. Early life Born in Mandeville, Jamaica, Henry moved to the U.S. when he was three. His father, an artist himself amazed Clayton with a picture of a car he saw him draw. He began drawing at 4 and at age 9 he was drawn into the world of comics with a copy of '' Uncanny X-Men'' #201. He attended art schools from 4th grade through 12th grade and much of college. Batman Family
A collective of fictional characters appear in American comic books published by DC Comics featuring the superhero Batman as the main protagonist. Since Batman's introduction in 1939, the character has accumulated a number of recognizable supporting characters.
