Spencer Richey
Spencer McNair Richey (born May 30, 1992) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire FC, Chicago Fire. Career College and amateur Richey spent his entire college career at the University of Washington. He made a total of 71 appearances for the Huskies and finished with 30 clean sheets. He also played in the Premier Development League for Seattle Sounders FC U-23, Tacoma Tide, Portland Timbers U23s, Washington Crossfire and Puget Sound Gunners FC, Puget Sound Gunners. Professional On January 20, 2015, Richey was selected in the third round (61st overall) of the 2015 MLS SuperDraft by Vancouver Whitecaps FC. However he was cut from camp and he ended up joining United Soccer League, USL affiliate club Whitecaps FC 2. He made his professional debut for the club on April 1 in a match against Austin Aztex. The 2017 Vancouver Whitecaps FC season is the club's seventh season in Major League Soccer, the top division of soccer in the United States and Canada. The USL Championship (USLC) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States that began its inaugural season in 2011. The 2020 MLS SuperDraft was the 21st edition of the MLS SuperDraft, SuperDraft conducted by Major League Soccer. The 2020 SuperDraft was the first SuperDraft held exclusively via conference call and web streaming. The first two rounds of the 2020 SuperDraft were held on January 9, 2020 while rounds three and four were held on January 13, 2020. Austin Aztex
The Austin Aztex were a soccer team based in Austin, Texas, United States. Founded in 2011 as a member of the Premier Development League, the team played the 2015 season in the United Soccer League, the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid. This was the second team to carry the name Austin Aztex; the first were founded in 2008 and relocated to Orlando in 2010, with that ownership group eventually being awarded an MLS franchise of the same name in that city. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental association football, soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system.
