''Spellz'' was a 2006–2008 magic series featuring famed magician Jay Sankey. Produced by GAPC Entertainment in partnership with TVO Kids, with the participation of Knowledge Network from 2006 to 2009, SCN and the Canadian Television Fund, Spellz was created by Hoda Elatawi, Mike Erskine-Kellie, Jay Sankey and David Peck. The show was directed by Max Maleo, written by Susan McLennan, and executive produced by Ken Stewart, Dan Danko & Tom K. Mason. Jay Sankey
Jay Sankey is a Canadian close-up magician and a prolific creator of magic effects. He has been an active stage performer since the mid-1980s. Work He is known as a stand-up comedian and authored a book about the art of stand-up, ''Zen and the Art of Stand-Up Comedy'' in 1999. However, he is best known for the many magical effects which he has published to help magicians develop their craft. His most well known works include his "Revolutionary Coin Magic" and "Revolutionary Card Magic" DVDs. In 2009, Sankey announced that Andi Gladwin and Joshua Jay were in the process of writing his complete works in a trilogy of books. In 2012 The Definitive Sankey volumes 1–3 were released in both a regular edition three book and a single DVD format and a deluxe version which has an extra DVD and is signed by Jay. TVO Kids
TVOkids (short for TVOntariokids and stylized as tvokids) is the brand for most of the children's programming aired by TVOntario (TVO) in Canada. It was launched on April 1, 1994 and runs from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily. TVO Original Programming
TVO (stylized as tvo), formerly known as TVOntario, is a publicly funded English-language educational television network and media organization serving the Canadian province of Ontario. It operates flagship station CICA-DT (channel 19) in Toronto, which also relays programming across portions of Ontario through eight rebroadcast stations.
