The Kansas Lottery 150 is an ARCA Menards Series race held at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas. The inaugural race was held in 2001. From 2012 to 2021, this race was the season-finale for the series. The race was originally 201 miles and 134 laps long until 2006. Each year since 2007 to 2010 and since 2016, the race has been 150 miles and 100 laps long. The race was 148.5 miles and 99 laps from 2011 to 2015 to match the name of the race, the 98.9. It has been held on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series Hollywood Casino 400 since 2009. In 2020, 2021 and 2022, the track also hosted a second ARCA Menards Series race held on the same weekend as the other NASCAR Cup Series race at the track. ARCA Menards Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. The series has had a longstanding relationship with NASCAR, including using former NASCAR Cup Series cars, hosting events in the same race weekend such as Daytona Speedweeks, and naming an award after NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. However, the series was not officially affiliated with NASCAR until its buyout on April 27, 2018. Jason Jarrett (racing Driver)
Jason Anthony Jarrett (born October 14, 1975) is an American race car spotter for 23XI Racing, JR Motorsports, and On Point Motorsports. A former driver in the NASCAR Busch Series and ARCA Racing Series, he has not driven in competition since 2005. Jarrett is the son of 1999 NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett and the grandson of two-time champion Ned Jarrett. Chad Blount
Chad Blount (born September 4, 1979) is an American former stock car racing driver. He raced in all three of NASCAR's major series, with his last appearance coming in 2010. NASCAR career Nextel Cup Series Blount made his debut in the then-Nextel Cup Series during the 2004 season. Driving the No. 37 R&J Racing Dodge, he attempted two races and was able to make the Tropicana 400, but finished 43rd after a mechanical failure. The 2005 ARCA Re/Max Series was the 53rd season of the ARCA Racing Series, a division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). Braun Motorsports, formerly known as Braun Racing, was an American professional stock car racing team that last competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Ryan Hemphill (born December 30, 1981) is a former NASCAR driver from Apollo, Pennsylvania. Racing career Hemphill, a second generation racer, started his racing career at the age of 12, when his father put him behind the wheel of a go-kart. He went on to race in go-carts both locally and nationally for a period of 3 years. During this span, Hemphill collected approximately 50 wins. Shelby Dean Howard IV (born July 25, 1985) is a NASCAR driver. He is currently a free agent. Racing career Howard began racing in 1996 in Junior Sprints. In his first season in the National Series, he finished fifth in points. He competed in various racing series.
