Nijkerk (; Dutch Low Saxon: ''Niekark'') is a municipality and a city located in the middle of the Netherlands, in the province of Gelderland. Population centres Some people state that ''Groot Corlaer'' is a population centre on its own, but it is officially part of Nijkerk. The Derde Divisie (; en, Third Division), formerly known as Topklasse (; en, Top Class), is the fourth tier of football in the Netherlands, which had its inaugural season as a third tier in 2010–11 and as a fourth tier in 2016–17. The league is placed between the Tweede Divisie and the Vierde Divisie (formerly Hoofdklasse), the third and fifth tiers of Dutch football, respectively. Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a team sport played between two teams of 11 players who primarily use their feet to propel the ball around a rectangular field called a pitch. Alles Door Oefening Den Haag (), commonly known by the abbreviated name ADO Den Haag (), is a Dutch association football club from the city of The Hague. The 2021–22 KNVB Cup, for sponsoring reasons officially called the TOTO KNVB Beker, is the 104th season of the annual Dutch national football cup competition. It began in August with the first of two preliminary rounds, and will conclude April 17, 2022 with the final played at De Kuip in Rotterdam. Ajax are defending champions as they won the 2021 final. The winners will participate in the 2022 Johan Cruyff Shield against the 2021–22 Eredivisie champions.
