	Plants Of The World Online Plants of the World Online (POWO) is an online database published by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. It was launched in March 2017 with the ultimate aim being "to enable users to access information on all the world's known seed-bearing plants by 2020". It is one of up to seven species in the genus ''Sparrmannia''. The genus name is after Anders Sparrman. Growing to tall by broad, ''S. africana'' is an evergreen shrub or small tree with large pale green leaves long and clusters of white flowers with red and yellow stamens.
