The Spanish Figure Skating Championships ( es, :es:Campeonato de España de Patinaje sobre Hielo, Campeonato de España de Patinaje sobre Hielo) are a figure skating competition, figure skating national championship held annually to determine the list of national championships in figure skating, national champions of Spain. Medals may be awarded in the disciplines of single skating, men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Not all disciplines in all levels have been held every year due to a lack of competitors. Felipe Montoya
Andrés Felipe Montoya Pulgarín (born 30 August 1990) is a Spanish competitive figure skater. He has won seven international medals and is an eight-time Spanish national medalist, having won two silver and six bronze medals. He finished within the top twenty at two European Championships (2016, 2018) and placed 29th at the 2018 Winter Olympics. Personal life Montoya was born on 30 August 1990 in Pereira, Colombia. He moved to Spain when he was eight years old. Career Montoya began learning to skate in 2003. He trained at Txuri-Berri Club de Hielo in San Sebastián until 2012, when he moved to SAD Majadahonda in Madrid. In December 2015, Montoya won the silver medal at the Spanish Championships, ranking between Javier Fernández and Javier Raya. Francisco Javier Raya Buenache (born 20 April 1991) is a Spanish figure skater. He is the 2011 Spanish Figure Skating Championships, Spanish national senior champion and has competed in the free skate at eight ISU Figure Skating Championships, ISU Championships. Personal life Francisco Javier Raya Buenache was born on 20 April 1991 in Madrid. He studied ballet from the age of six until he was 17. He is studying audiovisual communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. Raya is openly gay. Career Raya began skating in 1998 at a rink near Madrid's Chamartín railway station. His first coach was Jocelyn Flanagan. He is now coached by Carolina Sanz and Jordi Lafarga in Madrid and spends some time training in Canada during the summer. Majadahonda
Majadahonda () is a municipality in Spain, situated northwest of Madrid, in the Community of Madrid. It lies alongside the motorway A6 Madrid-A Coruña. The Puerta de Hierro university (public) hospital was relocated to Majadahonda from the western part of the city of Madrid into a newly built medical complex in 2009. History By the 16th century Majadahonda had become a proper village, with a population of about 400 inhabitants. Don Mariano Guadalupe Vallejo (4 July 1807 – 18 January 1890) was a Californio general, statesman, and public figure. He was born a subject of Spain, performed his military duties as an officer of the Republic of Mexico, and shaped the transition of Alta California from a territory of Mexico to the U.S. state of California. He served in the first session of the California State Senate.
