Spain National Football B Team
Spain B was a secondary football team run occasionally as support for the Spain national football team. They commonly played matches against 'B' teams from other football associations, from 1949 to 1981. Early history Spain B's first game is considered by some to be the one on 29 May 1927 at the Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid, where they beat the Portugal A team 2-0, thanks to second-half goals from Francisco Moraleda and Manuel Valderrama. The team that started that day was Guillermo Eizaguirre, Miguel Garrobé, Emilio Perelló, Ramón Polo Pardo, Manuel Valderrama, Gonzalo, Domingo Carulla, Enrique Molina, Pedro Regueiro, Emili Sagi-Barba and Óscar, and the two substitutes that came after the break were Matías Aranzábal and Francisco Moraleda, with the latter scoring the opening goal. Royal Spanish Football Federation
The Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol; RFEF) is the governing body of football in Spain. It is based in La Ciudad del Fútbol of Las Rozas, a municipality near Madrid. It was founded on 14 October 1909 as ''Federación Española de Clubs de Football'', and officially founded on 29 September 1913. It administers the competition committee (including the handling of the trophy) of the Campeonato Nacional de Liga: the Primera División and the Segunda División, even though they are organized by LaLiga. Guillermo Eizaguirre
Guillermo Eizaguirre Olmos (17 May 1909 – 25 October 1986) was a Spanish football goalkeeper and manager. He was born in Seville and played for Sevilla FC from 1924 to 1936, and also had three caps for Spain from 1935 to 1936. He was later the manager of the Spain national football team from 1948 to 1956, and led the team in the 1950 FIFA World Cup. He died in Madrid on 25 October 1986. Miguel Muñoz
Miguel Muñoz Mozún (19 January 1922 – 16 July 1990) was a Spanish football player and manager. A midfielder, he spent the majority of his career at Real Madrid before going on to coach the club, where he is widely considered one of the most successful and greatest managers in football history, leading the team to two European Cup victories and nine La Liga titles (winning seven major titles in both major competitions combined as a player). Muñoz later had a six-year coaching spell with the Spain national team, and led them to the final of Euro 1984. Estanislau Basora
Estanislau Basora Brunet (also Estanislao; 18 November 1926 – 16 March 2012) was a Spanish footballer who played as a winger or striker. Most of his 15-year career was spent at FC Barcelona for which he appeared in more than 300 official games, surpassing the 100-goal mark and winning 14 major titles. A Spanish international in the late 1940s/early 1950s, Basora represented the nation at the 1950 World Cup. Óscar Rodríguez López (10 June 1903 in Avilés – 21 June 1976), simply known as Óscar, was a Spanish footballer who played as a center-forward. Despite being deaf, he developed his entire football career at Racing de Santander, a team of which he is the all-time top scorer. Club career The son of a fisherman from Vigo and a woman from Avilés, he moved to Santander when he was sixteen years old, and there he began his career with Racing de Santander in 1920, at the age of 17, going on to play for them for the next two decades. A center-forward with a powerful shot, fast and very combative, he is considered by many to be the most important finisher in the history of Racing, with a total of 236 goals in just 211 official matches. Emilio Sagi Liñán
Emilio "Emili" Sagi Liñán (born Bolívar, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 15 March 1900; died Barcelona, 25 May 1951), was a Spanish footballer who played as a left-winger for FC Barcelona, the Catalan XI and Spain during the 1920s and 1930s. He was the son of Emilio Sagi Barba, the Catalan baritone singer, and Concepción Liñán Pelegrí, a dancer, and as a result, was widely referred to as Sagi-Barba (father's surnames together in a single surname). Pedro Regueiro Pagola ( 19 December 1909 – 11 June 1985) was a Spanish association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Football career Born in Irun in the Basque Country (greater region), Basque Country, Regueiro started his playing career at Real Unión in 1925. Domingo Carulla Bertran (25 October 1903 in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat – 31 December 1939) is a former Spanish footballer who spent most of his career at FC Barcelona. A midfielder with a remarkable technique, Carulla was a very outstanding player in the so-called Golden Age of Barcelona, one of the brightest times in the entity's history.
