Space Raoul
Jamie Smart (born 21 July 1978) is a British comic artist and author best known for his 10-issue comic series ''Bear''. The Phoenix He is known for his children's cartoon series '' Bunny VS. Monkey'', running in The Phoenix, created originally by Smart for a TV show. Other strips he has worked on at The Phoenix include ''Megalomaniacs'', Battlesuit Bea and Looshkin. The Dandy He was instrumental in the design of the October 2010 revamp of ''The Dandy'' and designing the new logos. For the revamp, Smart drew ''Desperate Dan'', ''Pre-Skool Prime Minister'', ''Arena of Awesome'', ''My Dad's a Doofus'' (as well as many others) with reprints of ''My Own Genie'' and ''Space Raoul'' later being used. His blue blobs have been part of ''The Dandy'' cover since October 2010 and appeared in The Digital Dandy during its run. Bear (comics)
''Bear'' is a popular black and white alternative comics, alternative comic book created by British writer/artist Jamie Smart and published in the United States by Slave Labor Graphics. It follows the adventures of a small stuffed bear named Bear and his roommate/antagonist, a psychotic housecat named Looshkin. Looshkin often plays cruel, wiktionary:sadistic, sadistic, and nonsensical pranks on Bear, and it is not uncommon for faeces and dismemberment to come into play. Smart's linework is bold and expressive, and his panels are littered with information and throw-away gags. The stories are marked by a combination of violent shocks, random silliness, and other hallmarks of Dada. 10 issues were published between 2003 and 2005. Barrie Appleby
Barrie Appleby is a British comics artist who works mainly for Scottish publisher D. C. Thomson & Co., drawing strips such as Dennis the Menace and Roger the Dodger for ''The Beano'' since the 1970s. He has also drawn Cuddles and Dimples for ''The Dandy'', as well as strips for ''Nutty'', ''Hoot'', ''Monster Fun'' and '' Buster''. ''The DFC'' was a weekly British children's comics anthology, anthology comic, published by David Fickling Books (an imprint of Random House). The first issue was published at the end of May 2008 in comics, 2008. The title stood for "David Fickling Comic". Its successor, ''The Phoenix (comics), The Phoenix'', launched on 7 January 2012. Unlike the vast majority of comics in the current market, ''The DFC'' was funded entirely by subscriptions, without any commercial advertising. It was fully coloured on all 36 pages.
