Space Chimps
''Space Chimps'' is a 2008 computer-animated science fiction comedy film directed by Kirk DeMicco in his directional debut, and written by DeMicco and Rob Moreland. It features the voices of Andy Samberg, Cheryl Hines, Jeff Daniels, Patrick Warburton, Kristin Chenoweth, Kenan Thompson, Zack Shada, Carlos Alazraqui, Omid Abtahi, Patrick Breen, Jane Lynch, Kath Soucie, and Stanley Tucci. The film follows three chimpanzees who go into space to an alien planet. 20th Century Fox theatrically released the film on July 18, 2008, and was panned by critics. Kirk DeMicco (born May 15, 1969) is an American filmmaker. He is best known for writing and directing ''Space Chimps'', ''The Croods'' and ''Vivo (film), Vivo''. Raised in Wyckoff, New Jersey and a former resident of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Franklin Lakes, DeMicco attended Ramapo High School (New Jersey), Ramapo High School. ''Space Chimps'' is a Platform game, platform video game based on the Space Chimps, film of the same name. It was published by Brash Entertainment and was released for the PlayStation 2, Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in 2008. Plot Similar to the film, Ham III, grandson of Ham (chimpanzee), Ham, the first Monkeys and apes in space, chimpanzee in space, teams up with fellow spacemates Luna and Titan on a space adventure to an unknown planet. Gameplay The player plays two characters, Ham and Luna, defeating enemies in order to defeat Zartog and save their friend, collecting gumdrop-shaped objects called Globhoppers as well as Banana, bananas along the way. The Casting Society, formerly known as Casting Society of America (CSA), was founded in Los Angeles, California, in 1982 as a professional society of about 1,200 casting directors and associate casting directors for film, television, theatre, and commercials in Canada, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa, and the United States.
