Southwest Senior High School
Southwest Senior High (SOH), in San Diego, California, United States, is a high school established in 1975. It was built on the site of a small railroad yard owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad along the original San Diego-Tijuana line. It existed until the mid-1930s when the tracks were moved east to the present-day Trolley tracks. Part of the Sweetwater Union High School District, it serves all socioeconomic communities of San Diego (specifically the Nestor community), as well as some students living in Chula Vista, Imperial Beach and San Ysidro. The school serves approximately 1,750 students. The school has a rivalry with fellow Sweetwater Union High School District school, Mar Vista, most notably the annual Battle of the Bell football game. The union high school district serves over 42,000 high school-aged students and over 32,000 adult learners. Adrian Garcia Marquez (born December 28, 1973) is an American sportscaster who works for Fox Deportes as a play by announcer, narrator, and host. Adrian also serves as one of the international voices of the NBA calling action on the NBA League Pass. Mexico National Futsal Team
The Mexico national futsal team is controlled by the Mexican Football Federation, the governing body for futsal in Mexico and represents the country in international futsal competitions, such as the World Cup and the CONCACAF Championships. Mexico has competed in the FIFA Futsal World Cup only once. Unlike 11-a-side games, futsal is not the strength of Mexico. The Mexicans now are struggling to emerge from the shadow of powerful regional rivals United States, Cuba, Guatemala, Costa Rica and recently is Panama. Despite making it to the semi-finals of the CONCACAF Futsal Championship on four occasions, the Mexicans have never done better than the third-place finish they managed at the tournament's debut edition back in 1996. He spent most of his playing career in indoor soccer with two seasons in the Western Soccer Alliance and one season in Major League Soccer.
