Southside Beach
Southside Beach is a clothes-optional beach located near Torquay, in Victoria, Australia. It is designated as a legal nudist beach under the Nudity (Prescribed Areas) Act 1983. About the beach It is a surf beach west of Torquay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Geelong. Signs at both ends of the beach are regularly vandalised or stolen, and the exact legal area can be hard to identify. The beach is very flat and tides come in a very long way. Only a narrow strip of sand remains at high tide and caution is advised when selecting a spot to set up. There are no lifesavers patrolling this beach at any time therefore caution must be taken when in the water. How to get there The beach is south west of Bells Beach and north east of Point Addis. It replaced the previously legal beach just west of Point Addis when that beach's status was revoked. Most nudists remain at the 'revoked' area. Torquay is a seaside resort in Victoria, Australia, which faces Bass Strait, 21 km south of Geelong and is the gateway to the Great Ocean Road. Bells Beach, Victoria
Bells Beach is a coastal locality of Victoria, Australia in Surf Coast Shire and a renowned surf beach, located 100 km south-west of Melbourne, on the Great Ocean Road near the towns of Torquay and Jan Juc. It is named after William Bell, a Master Mariner, who owned much of the property there from the 1840s. Many records wrongly accredit the location's name to John Calvert Bell of the family that took up a pastoral run there much later in 1905 and built the 'Addiscot' homestead. John Calvert Bell was, before that time, a resident at Calder Park, Mount Duneed, and not related to William Bell of Bells Beach. Point Impossible Beach is a clothes-optional beach located at Torquay, west coast, in the State of Victoria, Australia. It is designated as a legal nudist beach under the ''Nudity (Prescribed Areas) Act 1983''. About the beach It is a surf beach on the eastern outskirts of Torquay. It is about 30 minutes drive from Geelong. A broad uninterrupted white sand beach stretches in both directions from the carpark, and is bordered by large dunes covered by grasses and shrubs. How to get there Heading south from Melbourne or Geelong along the Surfcoast Highway, turn left before Torquay onto Blackgate Rd or South Beach Rd, then right at Horseshoe Bend Rd. Turn left at the end onto The Esplanade. There is a carpark at the end of the gravel section of The Esplanade, with access to the middle of the legal nude beach.
