Southern Lehigh High School
Southern Lehigh High School is a four-year public high school located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania in the Lehigh Valley region of eastern Pennsylvania. It is the only high school in the Southern Lehigh School District. As of the 2020-21 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,082 students, according to National Center for Education Statistics data. The school's mascot is the Spartan, and the school colors are blue and white. History Southern Lehigh was built in 1955. Pior to its construction, some students in the district attended high school at William Allen High School in Allentown while others attended Coopersburg High School, which closed when Southern Lehigh opened in 1955. Noel Michael LaMontagne (born March 9, 1977) is a former American football offensive guard. He played college football at Virginia. He signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent following the 2000 NFL Draft and played for the Browns in 2000. National Catholic Forensic League
The National Catholic Forensic League (NCFL) is a speech and debate league that was formed in 1951. It is organized into regions that correspond to Roman Catholic dioceses. Member schools include both public and parochial high schools. The NCFL recruits member schools in both the United States and Canada. As of January, 2011, there were 65 active dioceses with NCFL leagues. The IRS recognizes the NCFL as an organization eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable donations. The NCFL sponsors the Grand National Speech and Debate Tournament held each year over Memorial Day weekend.
