Southern Cardamom National Park
Southern Cardamom National Park ( km, ឧទ្យានជាតិជួរភ្នំក្រវាញខាងត្បូង) is a national park in Cambodia. The protection was established on 9 May 2016 and covers in the southern parts of the Cardamom Mountains. The national park is administratively divided into three sectors; Western Sector, Central Sector and Eastern Sector. The Southern Cardamom National Park connects existing protected areas in and around the Greater Cardamom Mountains, providing a total contiguous area under protection of . The other protected areas in the landscape include Phnom Samkos Wildlife Sanctuary, Central Cardamom Mountains and Phnom Aural Wildlife Sanctuary, covering the northern parts of the Cardamom Mountains, and Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary, Botum Sakor National Park and Kirirom National Park, south of the park. Botum Sakor National Park
Botum Sakor National Park is the largest national park of Cambodia. Situated on the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, Botum Sakor (or Botumsakor) is a peninsula projecting southwest from the Cardamom Mountains. The national park comprises an area of and spans three districts of Koh Kong Province: Kiri Sakor, Botum Sakor and Koh Kong. The park is under the administration of the Cambodian Ministry of Environment, and a small part of the park is included in the Southern Cardamom REDD+ Project (SCRP). Developing Countries

Wildlife Alliance
Wildlife Alliance is an international non-profit forest and wildlife conservation organization with current programs in Cambodia. It is headquartered in New York City, with offices in Phnom Penh. The logo of the organization is the Asian elephant, an emblematic species and the namesake for the Southwest Elephant Corridor that Wildlife Alliance saved when it was under intense threat of poaching and habitat destruction in 2001. It is today one of the last remaining unfragmented elephant corridors in Asia. Wildlife Corridors
A wildlife corridor, habitat corridor, or green corridor is an area of habitat connecting wildlife populations separated by human activities or structures (such as roads, development, or logging). This allows an exchange of individuals between populations, which may help prevent the negative effects of inbreeding and reduced genetic diversity (via genetic drift) that often occur within isolated populations. Corridors may also help facilitate the re-establishment of populations that have been reduced or eliminated due to random events (such as fires or disease). This may potentially moderate some of the worst effects of habitat fragmentation, wherein urbanization can split up habitat areas, causing animals to lose both their natural habitat and the ability to move between regions to use all of the resources they need to survive. In ecology, the term habitat summarises the array of resources, physical and biotic factors that are present in an area, such as to support the survival and reproduction of a particular species. A species habitat can be seen as the physical manifestation of its ecological niche. The Kirirom National Park ( km, ឧទ្យានជាតិគិរីរម្យ), officially the Preah Suramarit-Kossamak Kirirom National Park ( km, ឧទ្យានជាតិព្រះសុរាម្រិត-កុសមៈ គិរីរម្យ), is a national park in Cambodia. Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary
Peam Krasop Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area located in southwestern Cambodia, covering . It was established in 1993. The area is known for its mangroves and numerous islands separated by a maze of bays and channels. It boasts a unique mangrove ecosystem consisting of 23,750 hectares and has around 10,000 people living within its borders. The area is influenced by inter-tidal levels and water from highland areas. Peam Krasaop Wildlife Sanctuary provides favorable conditions for fishery and other resources.
