Southeast of Saline Secondary School is a K-12 school, located approximately 4 miles west of Gypsum, Kansas, United States, on the south side of Highway K-4. It is operated by Southeast of Saline USD 306. The school's enrollment is approximately 700 students from the communities of Gypsum, Assaria, Kipp, and Mentor. The school colors are purple and white and the mascot is the Trojan. K-1 is a professional kickboxing promotion established in 1993, well known worldwide mainly for its heavyweight division fights and Grand Prix tournaments. In January 2012, K-1 Global Holdings Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong, acquired the rights to K-1, and is the current organizer of K-1 events worldwide. Founded in 1993 by karateka Kazuyoshi Ishii, at its height in the late 90s and the 2000s under the ownership of the Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG), K-1 was the largest and most prestigious "Kickboxing" organization in the world.
