South Supreme Airlines
South Sudan Supreme Airlines is a South Sudanese airline that began operations in September 2013. The airline was formed using the fleet of Feeder Airlines, which operated two Fokker 50A's. As of May 2014 the airline had regularly scheduled flights three times a week between Juba and Entebbe. Juba Airport
Juba () is the Capital city, capital and largest city of South Sudan. The city is situated on the White Nile and also serves as the capital of the Central Equatoria, Central Equatoria State. It is the world's newest capital city to be elevated as such, and had a population of 525,953 in 2017. It has an area of , with the metropolitan area covering . Juba was established in 1920–21 by the Church Missionary Society (CMS) in a small Bari people, Bari village, also called Juba. The city was made as the capital of Mongalla Province in the late 1920s. Bombardier CRJ200
The Bombardier CRJ100 and CRJ200 (previously Canadair CRJ100 and CRJ200) is a regional jet designed and manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace between 1991 and 2006, the first of the Bombardier CRJ family. The ''Canadair Regional Jet'' (CRJ) program, derived from the Challenger 600 business jet, was launched in early 1989. The first CRJ100 prototype made its maiden flight on 10 May 1991. Canada's first jet airliner to enter commercial service was introduced by launch customer Lufthansa in 1992. The 50 seat aircraft is powered by two GE CF34 turbofans, mounted on the rear fuselage. The CRJ200 has more efficient turbofan engines for lower fuel consumption, increased cruise altitude and speed. During the late 1990s, it was stretched into the CRJ700 series. Salva Kiir Mayardit (born 13 September 1951), also known as Salva Kiir, is a South Sudanese politician who has been the President of South Sudan since its independence on 9 July 2011. Prior to independence, he was the President of the Government of Southern Sudan, as well as First Vice President of Sudan, from 2005 to 2011. He was named Commander-in-Chief of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA) in 2005, following the death of Dr. John Garang. Early life Kiir was born in 1951 into a pastoral Dinka family in the village of Akon in the Awan-Chan Dinka community in Gogrial County, South Sudan, as the eighth of nine children (six boys and three girls) in the family. Feeder Airlines
Feeder Airlines was an airline based in Juba, South Sudan. It started operations on 2 June 2007 operating scheduled and charter services from Juba International Airport. The airline offered international flights to countries neighboring South Sudan, including Sudan and Uganda. After one of the aircraft operated by Feeder Airlines was written off after a runway excursion, the other aircraft used in Feeder Airlines was used to rename and make the brand new separate airline of South Supreme Airlines. One aircraft previously operated by Feeder Airlines is currently stored and another is not in use after damaging the aircraft in a 2012 accident. The company slogan was ''The Pride of South Sudan.''
