Oscar Brodney (February 18, 1907 – February 12, 2008) was an American lawyer-turned-screenwriter. He is best known for his long association with Universal Studios, where his credits included ''Harvey'', ''The Glenn Miller Story'' (1954), several ''Francis the Talking Mule, Francis'' movies and the ''Tammy (film series), Tammy'' series. Biography He was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of an immigrant fisherman. Helena Carter (born Helen Jean Ruckert; August 24, 1923 – January 11, 2000) was an American film actress in the 1940s and 1950s who is best known for her work in the film '' Invaders from Mars'' as Dr. Patricia Blake.
